McDonald’s Confirms Partnership with Doodles for Holiday Campaign
McDonald’s has confirmed its partnership with popular web3 brand Doodles to launch a large-scale holiday campaign.
Starting November 18, over 100 million limited-edition McCafé cups featuring Doodles’ signature artwork will be available at participating McDonald’s locations across the United States.
The campaign, titled “GM Spread Joy,” offers customers access to free digital experiences, exclusive collectibles, and new animated content, blending the tradition of holiday coffee moments with cutting-edge digital engagement.
Details of the Partnership
The campaign centers around limited-edition McCafé cups featuring artwork from Doodles’ original NFT collection, bringing the vibrant designs to a nationwide audience.
Customers who purchase a beverage in these cups through the McDonald’s app will unlock digital “packs” containing unique rewards. These rewards include:

The campaign also features new original music from Doodles Records and an animated holiday short. This makes it one of McDonald’s largest physical product-based marketing initiatives tied to a digital campaign.
Additionally, the campaign will spotlight Doodles in physical spaces, including the iconic McDonald’s Times Square billboard, which will feature Doodles-themed animations throughout the holiday season.
